The 7-day Tour East Bus trip that I'm traveling on stopped here; we have 50 tourists in our group.
It's a meal stop so only a quickie review. The $325 meal plan includes 6 lunches and 6 dinners of which this restaurant is one of the venues.
The Dartmouth restaurant is large and clean. Food choices are standard Chinese buffet fare with lots of fried and stir-fried items. A few steamed choices are available. There is also a small Sushi section; items were freshly prepared and very tasty.

Meh . It was so hit and miss. Though the selection was vast; there was only 5 dishes that were not dried out. The host kept shreking at the kitchen staff.
I would never go back. Total garbage. -

The food is overall Bland at best, I can say that I won't be returning to this establishment not because of that, but because my wife mentioned to me while eating that she saw something run past our table on the floor, it was a mouse, And apparently this is normal in Halifax, I'm not so sure about that, Anyhow after advising staff and loosing my appetite we were handed a 10% discount.

The experience I had here with my family was enough to make me never return. Food was decent at best, service was terrible. My niece, who has special needs and eats through a feeding tube, was at the table with us but very obviously not eating. As we went to pay they tried to charge us for a plate for her as well even though we made it pretty clear she can't eat regular food! It was horrible and we left after refusing to pay for a plate of food no one had eaten. I will not return to this place for that experience alone.

Where has this been all my life? Food..... DELICIOUS. Service....... EXCELLENT. Price......... UNBEATABLE. Make sure you try this place, i swear you wont regret it. Make sure you come with loose pants though!
